Hello!

Thank you for this project.
I've made two EVSE-Wifi for my own use, using info from the internet.
I'm really proud about this, as my profession is far from this domain (medicine).

Now I want to upgrade one to EVSE-Wifi 2.0 just for fun, but I find limited information about:
- how to wire ESP32 to EVSE WB/DIN (pins)
- how to upload the original bin file via USB to ESP32.
I could not find any source for v2
For the use of EVSE-WiFi 2.0 (based on ESP32) it is recommended to use the dedicated hardware 'EVSE-WiFi 2.0 Base'.

So Is a must to buy the EVSE-Wifi 2.0 Base or I can use any ESP32 with an antenna?

Hello,
v2.x is optimized for BASE-modul viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15, which contains several hardware for EV charging (CP-interrupt, UI-connector for button/reset/EVSE-LED/EVSE-Wifi-LED). It's also used @smartWB viewtopic.php?f=7&t=87.

v1.x will benefit from v2.x-software development, but without new features.
There is no upgrade-option v1.x to v2.x due to different hardware. You have to change to BASE if you want all features of v2.x..

Hardware-sellings support software-development so pls. consider:
software = open source
hardware = closed source
